- 9 in. Street/strip converter
This converter is built on forged front cover with interchangeable pilots 4130 chrome-moly impeller hub and turban hubs. Both are heat treated for improved durability. The turban and pump halves are hand welded.
Stall- 3000 to 5500 rpm
The 9 in race converters have some of the same components of the strip converter with the addition of an aftermarket aluminum stator and a 10 strut mechanical diode. We also add double ballooning plates, and bearings on all three friction points. All of these converter can be made the way you would like them we custom build all converters in house to your specs.
Stall ranges- 3000 to 6000 rpm
9 in steel stator
This converter is built on a 6 padded billet steel front cover 4130 turban hub and impeller hub hand built steel stator and the largest baring setups in the industry. This converter is well suited for use in smaller blown engines and mild nitrous engines.
